About Legacy Motor Group (LMG)

Legacy Motor Group (LMG) is a 100% black-owned automotive retail group in South Africa offering unique automotive retail solutions and services.

Founded in 2008, the company operates a motor trading division that currently represents four BMW dealerships (BMW Menlyn, BMW Montana, BMW Rustenburg and BMW Polokwane) and two MINI dealerships (MINI Menlyn and MINI Montana). BMW Group brands represented by LMG at present include BMW, BMW i, BMW M, BMW Motorrad (BMW Motorcyles) and MINI (new and approved pre-owned cars). The company is currently on a quest to expand its retail portfolio to other automotive / OEM brands. Watch this space!

Other divisions of LMG include LMG Approved Repair Centre (also known as Zambesi Approved Repair Centre), LMG Pre-Owned, LMG Prestige, LMG Tyre and Rim and LMG Finance & Insurance (LMG is a representative of Insurancewise – FSP: 32023).

This comprehensive offering enables LMG to offer ‘The Power of ONE’ – a unique service in the South African automotive retail industry. At present, the company employs over 400 employees – men and women who cumulatively carry automotive DNA with passion and constantly strive to offer the best service as well as test the boundaries of automotive innovation.
