A week ago all-around South Africa, we celebrated the 66th National Women’s Day; a day commemorating the 20 000 women who marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria in 1956 in protest against the apartheid laws.

And while we remember those who marched before us 66 years ago, in this women’s month e continue to remember the women of today – the women who invent, manage and lead. Let’s remember the ground shakers, decision makers, and risk takers.

To celebrate this year’s Women’s Month, LMG invited Ms. Junior to speak at our Women’s Month Celebration Event, which took place at our flagship dealership: BMW Menlyn, Pretoria. Ms. Duma is Head of Sales at WesBank with over 18 years of vehicle finance experience. Ms. Junior has worked closely with different dealer groups and OEMs on business development and business growth strategies. She has also served on different Executive Committees and also in advisory boards. She is is continuously challenging the status quo and taking her seat in what has predominantly been a male-dominated industry.

The event which was attended by a number of dynamic and powerful women and engaged women was a success.
