LMG shows Duty of Care to its employees

Following the unfortunate unrests in our country recently that resulted in the destruction of various retail facilities as well as infrastructure and subsequently causing food shortages, Legacy Motor Group (LMG) supported its employees who live in the affected Gauteng areas with food hampers.

The initiative is part of LMG’s social responsibility programme “Caring as ONE.”

“At LMG we value all our employees and regard them as our most treasured asset. Without them, LMG will not be able to fulfil its mission of serving its customers and vision of being a leading black-owned automotive retail group in South Africa. Therefore, as part of our duty of care and in the spirit of Ubuntu (Humanity), it is important that we help our employees in time of need,” said Mr Dumisani Radebe, LMG Chief Executive Officer.

The food hampers are enough to support a family of four for at least two weeks – this is while the relevant government authorities are fixing the various infrastructure that was destroyed during the unrests.
